At first glance, the OtterBox Reflex case for iPhone 4 looks like many other cases on the market. However, what sets this case apart is the unprecedented level of protection that OtterBox has engineered into it. According to the manufacturer, while wearing this case, your phone will bounce.
Size and Fit
The Reflex case slides quickly and easily onto your iPhone 4, and comes off the same way. Don’t take this to mean that the case will come apart on its own, however. Rest assured, it won’t open unless you want it to. Of course, there are all the usual cutouts for buttons and ports and they’re all precisely aligned to give full access and maximum protection. This is a minimalistic case design so if you own another OtterBox product, you’re likely to be underwhelmed when you unpack it.

The Reflex’ claim to fame is its ability to provide actual drop protection in a slim case. It achieves this by trapping a layer of air between itself and the edges of your iPhone. This gives your phone a surprising amount of bounce (according to the video, that is). We have tested a few cases that also bounce, however they are downright HUGE compared to the Reflex. The OtterBox Reflex provides maximum protection with a minimum size.

The Reflex is available in four colors: black/black, black/blue, black/pink, and black/green. Whatever your taste, you’re likely to find one that suits you.
