Apple targeting fall season for iPhone 5…
Sporting speculation of a September/October release the iPhone 5 has steadily been creeping into the limelight. Based on rumoured reports from a “reliable source” this continued shift away from mid-year launches only confirms the newly adopted 12-month cycle that Apple has strategically taken.
Upon further speculating, a representative from a known iPhone supplier describes that based on Apple’s ordering plans the rumours of a new hardware release date for the autumn months is highly probable if not certain.
The same source that has successfully confirmed the March release of the long awaited iPad 3 also claims an October launch for an LTE-enabled iPhone 5.
The newly acquired information contradicts previous rumours of the iPhone 5 summer release date. It’s very unlikely that Apple will cut the life-cycle of the iPhone 4S to 8 months leading many to believe that Apple will hold off on the product launch of the iPhone 5 till later in the year, leaving us all animated for an early autumn release.
