iPad Accessory Review: The OtterBox Latch is a Good Buy
Hey, it isn’t rocket science: iPads aren’t SuperMen made out of alien steel.
Indeed, iPads are considered to be mainstream tech “Bling”; sexy and easy-to-use (for some), and, and, and…
Riddle me this: How useful is a high-end tech toy without protection?
Lucky for our loyal fans, Cellular Firm has seen it all and has highlighted a tablet review for our “extreme” tablet user.
Thus, we put our notorious OtterBox iPad/iPad 2 Utility Latch Series to the test.
Here’s what we found:
If you’re a traveler or tablet-user-on-the-go and demand a creative, yet, effective iPad protective case; the OtterBox Latch offers more than your average.
Its versatility gives users the ability to prop the iPad around any decent sized sedentary object.
Think tree stump. Think chair. Even your hand, your arm, your leg.
A good friend of mine uses the OtterBox Latch to prop his tablet behind his driver seat, for his little kiddies to watch movies; or, even for our good friend Willy…(Insert Bad Joke Here)…to quit being such a terrible backseat driver.
But there’s more…
The OtterBox Latch also offers a miniature bag; about the size of a small pencil case.
Here, you can store your iPhone or any other mobile device safely as you hike through the mountains; searching for a way up to the top.
As a added bonus, the OtterBox’s lanyard also adds a fashionable twist to your everyday ensemble; allowing you to loosen and tighten your strap as you wish.
Its latch will help you place your iPad up on any corner; allowing you to free your hands, and watch in any movie in landscape or portrait view.
Although the design is made for heavy duty users, many have reported its edge fabric covers the iPad headphone jack; causing conflict between music lover and iPad protector, so to speak.
We’ve also heard complaints on how the OtterBox Utility Series requires stiffer backing.
And yes, it isn’t Waterproof.
After further evaluation, trial and more trial the OtterBox Utility Latch Series — in the eyes of the Cellular Firm jury — believe the OtterBox Utility is worth the buy.
The jury has spoken: 4/5.
